Dr. Anthony Liberatore

Osteopath

Dr. Anthony Liberatore has returned to Melbourne ready to pursue his passion for sports rehabilitation after working in Launceston, Tasmania. Having graduated from RMIT University, Anthony has been exposed to a large client base, with conditions ranging from work-related and sporting injuries to chronic pain.

Anthony is heavily involved with Australian Rules Football, having played in both the Victorian Football League for Werribee and the Tasmanian State League for Launceston. However, his interest in sport doesn’t stop there. With an extensive knowledge of biomechanics, he is able to help get his athletes back to peak performance levels as quickly as possible.

Anthony uses a firm, structural-based approach to his treatments utilising techniques such as joint articulation, massage, muscle activation, dry-needling and joint manipulation to get patients in the best functioning condition possible.

Other than physical treatment, Anthony values patient education. Educating his patients about their condition, and how the they can control the outcome of their injuries outside the clinic doors, is critical during his consultations.

Outside Osteopathy and off the football field, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring new sights around Victoria and reaching personal bests on the running track.

Anthony is a registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and Osteopathy Australia.
